I know Red isn't with us any more but for the first time I just heard 'Daddy' and just HAD TO LET THOSE WHO ARE LOOKING AFTER HIS web site know that I have loved virtually everything Red ever did but this song touched my heart like few others. Red was about the same age as my father who passed into the great beyond in March, 2002. In our family there was four of us siblings, as in 'Daddy', but we were all boys. The words of this song touched me as few other musical efforts have ever done. |
